Several waves of missiles hit Kiev | 1 Aug 2026 | The Ukrainian capital and its suburbs were reportedly struck by dozens of missiles in multiple waves early on Saturday morning, just two days after the Russian Defense Ministry conducted its latest strikes on Kiev’s arms-industry facilities. The first blasts in Kiev were heard shortly after 1am local time, with further explosions reported in several waves through 3am. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko claimed that at least three people had been killed and more than a dozen injured. He also reported multiple fires at residential buildings and unspecified “non-residential” industrial facilities in at least four districts.
