The nearly $10 billion project -- which called for more than 35,000 battery-powered U.S. Postal Service (USPS) vehicles to be completed by September 2028 -- was funded in part by $3 billion in funding from former President [sic] Joe Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
