Joint Base Andrews reports no hospitalizations after suspicious package with white powder sickened multiple people | 7 Nov 2025 | Several people who fell ill after a suspicious package containing white powder was delivered to a U.S. military base have been cleared by medics, officials said. The sickened were taken to the base’s Malcolm Grove Medical Center after an individual opened the package at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Thursday, sources familiar with the investigation told CNN. They were all “evaluated and treated by JBA medical personnel, determined to be in stable condition, and released yesterday,” officials said in an update Friday. “As a precaution, the building and connecting building were evacuated, and a cordon was established around the area,” the statement added.
