Bill Clinton ‘says Trump is INNOCENT’ in explosive Epstein testimony as president tears into Republicans for dragging predecessor in for grilling | 27 Feb 2026 | Bill Clinton has allegedly defended Donald Trump during his deposition over his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Republican Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, claimed during a break in Clinton’s testimony Friday that the former president had absolved Trump. “Trump has never said anything to me to make me think he was involved,” Clinton told lawmakers, according to Comer. Trump rebuked his Republican allies for dragging Clinton to testify, telling reporters outside the White House: “I like him. I don’t like seeing him deposed, but they certainly went after me,” Trump added as Clinton became the first former president ever compelled to testify before Congress against his will.
