Ahead of the election, Common Defense, which is made up of 40,000 veterans, is mobilizing its network to help "monitor extremist activity in swing states around the election," according to NPR. After instructing members in "open source intelligence" to help predict unrest around polling locations, individuals are instructed by the organization to respond to escalation by filming video in an attempt to produce "accountability," the outlet reported... The Daily Caller spoke to various experts across the political field about what to expect in the event of a Trump victory. From protests to lawfare to Secret Service protection, they predicted a more extreme and dangerous response from Democrats in 2024 compared to 2016.
