Georgia school shooting leaves at least 4 dead and close to 30 injured - report | 4 Sept 2024 | At least four people are believed to have been killed and about 30 others injured in a shooting at a high school in northern Georgia on Wednesday morning, according to a report. The victims were all apparently wounded when shots rang out at Apalachee High School in Winder before 10:30 a.m., law enforcement sources told CNN. It was not immediately clear if all of the reported injuries were from gunshot wounds, they added. A suspect, who is of student age, is in custody, the sources said. It was not clear if the individual attended the high school, which is about 45 minutes outside Atlanta.
