The threats were allegedly sent in an email to a local news station. Jacob Aaron Hicks, 46, of Tucson, was arrested Wednesday and charged by criminal complaint with making an interstate threat to injure, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona. He made his initial appearance in federal court on Thursday. The complaint alleges that Hicks emailed a Tucson news station on September 23, claiming that a bomb strike against the White House and other locations in the capital was imminent.
