Iran marshals Islamic Army for all-out war as Israel makes desperate plea to Trump | 15 June 2025 | Donald Trump has shown strong support for Israel after it launched several strikes on Iranian soil since Friday, even going as far to say that it remains possible the U.S. could become involved in the conflict. Iran has also signaled its intent to involve its allies in waging war against the Jewish state, saying it is looking to form an "Islamic Army" with several other countries in the Middle East. Top Iranian official Mohsen Rezaee told Iranian state media that the regime wants to unite with "Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and several other countries" to create an "Islamic army" amid its ongoing conflict against Israel. Israel killed three more high-ranking security figures and destroyed Iran's main nuclear facility in Natanz along with a number of "weapons production sites" across Iran as the conflict entered its third day on Sunday. In response, Tehran fired a fresh barrage of strikes which struck "several areas across the country," including the capital of Tel-Aviv.
