Two teenage girls stabbed inside Grand Central on Christmas by man who allegedly wanted 'white people dead' | 27 Dec 2023 | A New York man with a lengthy rap sheet is facing an array of charges, including that of attempted murder and a hate crime, after he allegedly stabbed two teenage girls inside Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Day, according to New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). The two girls, ages 14 and 16, were visiting from South America and having lunch in the Grand Central Dining Concourse when they were stabbed around 11:25 a.m., officials said. Without further incident, the suspect, identified by authorities as 36-year-old Steven Hutcherson of the Bronx, was placed into custody by nearby officers less than one minute after the initial report.
