Majority of voters believe Biden WH covering up former president's decline is a serious issue - poll | 21 May 2025 | The majority of respondents to a new Rasmussen poll published Wednesday said they believe that the Biden administration's attempts to hide former President [sic] Joe Biden's health issues constitute a "serious" scandal. The poll, which was conducted May 14-15 and May 18, found that 72% of registered likely U.S. voters believe that it is a serious concern if the aides and White House officials knew about Biden's mental decline and tried to cover it up. Within the 72% of respondents, 48% said it was a "very serious" scandal, per Rasmussen Reports. The survey was conducted at the same time that the former president announced he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which has spread to his bones.
