Several Supporters Seated Behind Trump at Tucson Rally Rushed to ER With 'Blurred Vision,' 'Eye Burns' | 18 Sept 2024 | Arizona Globe reporter Christy Kelly revealed a troubling development following former President Donald Trump's rally in Tucson, Arizona, last Thursday. Kelly noted "as many as 20 people" reported becoming ill, and all of whom were seated on the left side of the stage. "What is going on in Tucson? Many supporters seated behind Trump onstage went to the ER after the rally with 'blurred vision' and 'burning' to the eyes. I spoke to several who still have not fully recovered. As many as 20 were affected." Kelly wrote on X. She reported: "Mayra Rodriguez, another attendee, also fell ill 30 minutes after leaving the rally, experiencing burning eyes and a severe headache. By the time she arrived at the emergency room, she could no longer open her eyes. After performing a dye test, the doctor informed her that she had suffered a chemical burn. Days later, she continued suffering from blurry vision and light sensitivity." The cause of the symptoms remains unknown, and an active investigation is underway.
