Bill Barr says Mueller report entirely clears Trump - or ANY American - of Russian collusion and says POTUS did not obstruct justice

Bill Barr says Mueller report entirely clears Trump - or ANY American - of Russian collusion and says POTUS did not obstruct justice and was 'understandably angry' at undermining of his presidency, before exiting stage mid-way through questions --Attorney General William Barr makes public a redacted version of the 400-page Mueller report Thursday --He held a press conference from the Justice Department at 9.30am --Special Counsel Robert Mueller assembled the document over a two-year investigation --His team conducted 500 interviews, though President Trump would only submit to an interview in writing while consulting with lawyers | 18 April 2019 | Attorney General Bill Barr said Thursday that the weight of evidence in the Mueller report shows President Donald Trump did not obstruct justice -- as he explained Trump's conduct as the actions of an 'understandably frustrated' president who was acting out of a belief that the probe was undermining his tenure. 'There is substantial evidence to show that the president was frustrated and angered by his sincere belief that the investigation was undermining his presidency, propelled by his political opponents and fueled by illegal leaks,' Barr said at a press conference which lasted just 25 minutes -- just hours before he said he would make public the redacted version of Mueller's work. He said the evidence of 'non-corrupt motives' on the part of the president 'weighs heavily' on the matter. Barr said his characterization of the president's sincerity wasn't his own determination, but was included in the report -- although the public will have to wait a few more hours to see it.
