The district's coronavirus tracker, last updated Monday, is reporting a 4.2% positivity rate this week, with 10 out of 43 staff members diagnosed with the virus.

Multiple Kentucky schools close due to illness at start of new year | 23 Aug 2023 | In the first weeks of the academic year, multiple Kentucky school districts are already feeling the impacts of COVID-19. Magoffin County Schools is less than two weeks into the new year, yet illness has already caught up to their student body. The district announced that all schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to illness. Magoffin County Health Department Director Pete Shepherd says [the absentees] started as a combination of illnesses, but now, COVID has risen above the rest. "The last month before school, we hardly gave out any home tests. We started giving them out again, and we can't get them fast enough to give them out," Shepherd said.

Maui fire investigation: Maui's top emergency officials were on a different island for a disaster training as flames flared and did not join response call until five hours after the deadly 'wildfires' begun | 24 Aug 2023 | Maui's top emergency officials were on another island when the [Directed Energy Weapons-induced] wildfires begun, it emerged on Wednesday - and did not join a call about the response until five hours after the blazes broke out. Dozens of senior bureaucrats were gathering on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, on August 8 for the annual meeting of FEMA coordinators in the Pacific region... A state emergency management spokesperson told Hawaii News Now the 'coordinating call about 11am' was held to discuss multiple wildfires that had sparked on the Big Island and Maui. FEMA confirmed the fires were part of discussions during the conference, held at the Alohilani Beach Resort in Honolulu...Those attending the conference included Herman Andaya, the then-director of Maui County Emergency Management Agency, who defended the decision not to activate emergency warnings. Andaya resigned on August 17, nine days after the wildfires, citing his health. It had emerged he had no background in disaster response: Local news site Maui Now reported in 2017 that he was hired over 40 other qualified applicants.

Maui residents were blocked by barricades while trying to escape deadly wildfires | 23 Aug 2023 | The fires in Lahaina on the Hawaiian island of Maui tore through the community with virtually no warning. Sirens that are meant to alert residents of tsunamis were not sounded as officials believed that sounding the warnings would cause more harm than not. Yet residents say that if they had just another 10-15 minutes, lives would have been saved. "We needed like 10 more minutes, and we could have saved a lot of kids," said Nate Baird to the AP, who escaped from the fires with his wife and two children. "If we’d just had like a 10- or 15-minute warning." The children were the ones who alerted Baird about the fires, saying that the air smelled like s'mores... When Baird and his family tried to leave Lahaina to the south, they were confronted with barricades and a crew telling everyone to turn back due to downed electric polls. The crew was ushering people back into the fires. Baird and his family didn't do as they were told, instead driving around the barricades.

Telltale Evidence That Lahaina Was Destroyed by Directed Energy Weapons --A blue laser will burn all objects, but it will not burn blue items. Notice in the picture the blue T-shirts and their price tags attached with strings survived the alleged fire that destroyed the building. By Edward Hendrie | 26 Aug 2023 | ...Lahaina became a target of one of the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFLR) directed energy "operational missions" on August 8, 2023. Proof can be found in the rubble. Directed energy has certain characteristics that are unlike a fire. They leave behind telltale evidence. For example, microwave directed energy weapons cause molecular destruction of materials that absorb microwaves; wood remains unfazed because wood absorbs very little microwave radiation. That is why we notice that in Lahaina there are trees with branches and foliage that remained unscathed by fire while surrounded by immolated buildings...The cover story that Lahaina was destroyed by wildfire is impeached by the fact that the trees remain standing among the rubble. The trees are silent testimony that accidental wildfires did not destroy Lahaina; directed energy weapons were employed to do the job. This was criminal genocide. [The paper price tags on the T-shirts having survived the fires are reminiscent of the 9/11 "hijackers'" passports that were quickly located in the Manhattan rubble. --LRP]

Judge Rejects RFK Jr's Request for Order Blocking Google From Censoring Him | 24 Aug 2023 | A federal judge has rejected a request from presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for an order that would block Google from censoring him. Google and its subsidiary, YouTube, have removed multiple videos of Mr. Kennedy in recent months because they allegedly contained medical misinformation. The removals violate Mr. Kennedy's First Amendment rights because they were spurred by government policy, Mr. Kennedy's lawyers said in a motion for a temporary restraining order. Evidence from another case has shown that government officials regularly collaborated with Big Tech companies such as Google to censor users, and YouTube's policy is that information contradicting U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance will be censored.

Google burying websites of Trump and other Biden challengers - report --Searching 'presidential campaign websites' returned incumbent Joe Biden's webpage and several inactive Democrats | 26 Aug 2023 | Google is suppressing the 2024 campaign websites of all serious challengers to Democratic incumbent President [sic] Joe Biden, a report from the Media Research Center claimed on Thursday. Searching the web for "presidential campaign websites" using Google returned results that did not include a single Republican candidate on the first page the day before the first Republican primary debate of the 2024 season, according to the MRC. Not even former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is polling neck-and-neck with Biden, appeared in the first few pages of results, the media watchdog observed. Nor did Democratic challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the chief threat to Biden's candidacy from within his own party, appear in the results at all, even though a recent poll had him at nearly 20 percent in a matchup against Biden.

Donald Trump posts mugshot meme with guns pointed at his face saying 'Soros' and 'pedophiles' --The meme posted on Truth Social shows his mugshot surrounded by CGI guns --Each gun is emblazoned with a word representing Trump's apparent adversaries --They illustrate the narrative he's under fire from politically motivated forces | 25 Aug 2023 | Donald Trump has reposted a meme of his mugshot complete with 19 CGI guns surrounding his face just hours after his humiliating surrender at a Georgia county jail. The meme shared on Truth Social 4.8k times shows the former president's police picture modified with a flurry of pistols pointed at his head, each emblazoned with words representing his apparent enemies. Illustrating the 77-year-old's narrative that he is under fire from corrupt, politically motivated authorities who want to sabotage his 2024 White House bid, the guns are branded with words like "Soros," "pedophiles," "Democrats," and "fake news." Other firearms say "indictment," "globalists," "fascists," "deep state," and "FBI," while the words "NEVER SURRENDER! WE STAND UNITED WITH TRUMP!" frame the image. Trump re-posted it on his self-created social media platform not long after he made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a mugshot.

Trump Surrenders to Authorities in Atlanta, Released After Booking | 24 Aug 2023 | Former President Donald Trump surrendered himself to authorities at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on Aug. 24 at roughly 7:36 p.m. local time. He was released on a $200,000 bond in about 20 minutes after going through the booking process, including fingerprinting and having his picture taken for a mug shot--the first ever taken of a U.S. president. His private jet landed at the Atlanta International Airport at 7:03 p.m., after which a 13-vehicle motorcade brought him to the notoriously dangerous jailhouse through a highway cleared off all traffic by the police. President Trump had until noon on Aug. 25 to have himself booked to avoid arrest after Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged him and 18 associates with dozens of crimes, including a racketeering conspiracy based on his efforts to challenge the official results of the 2020 election coup.

Biden Staffer Met With Member of Jack Smith's Team Before Trump Indictment | 26 Aug 2023 | White House visitor logs show that an aide for special counsel Jack Smith quietly met with the White House Counsel's office just weeks before President Donald Trump's indictment on classified documents charges. Visitor logs reviewed by The Epoch Times show that Jay Bratt, a prosecutor on Mr. Smith's team, met with Caroline Saba, deputy chief of staff for President [sic] Joe Biden's White House Counsel's office, on March 31. While the logs provide no details as to the subject of the meeting or what was discussed, questions have been raised about why a member of Mr. Smith's team would be meeting with the White House Counsel's office while in the midst of an investigation into President Trump, who is Joe Biden's chief rival in the 2024 presidential race.

Just Days Before Khan's Car Crackdown Goes Live, One London Area Sees 90 Per Cent of Cameras Destroyed | 24 Aug 2023 | Almost all of the licence-plate reading cameras that will enable London Mayor Sadiq Khan's fresh crackdown on driving in the city in one neighbourhood have already been destroyed by "Blade Runners," just days before the scheme is supposed to come into force. As many as nine in ten of Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) cameras installed in the London suburb of Sydenham and Sidcup have already been disabled according to an online information-sharing group. According to The Times, the group takes submissions from the public when they see ULEZ cameras being installed, track locations on a viewable map, and record whether they are still functional or not. Recent reports have noted the varying ways disgruntled members of the public -- described as a criminal "small minority of people" [LOL] by London government spokesmen but who call themselves "Blade Runners" -- have found to take out the cameras they object to. Among them are full-on theft of the cameras themselves, detaching the power and data cables that feed into them from their street poles, cutting the wires, or less active acts as simple as pushing the camera upwards to point at the sky with a stick, or placing a sticker of the lens. [All excellent tactics! Keep going, hero Blade Runners!]

Tax on electric cars looms as fuel excise dwindles --Treasurer Jim Chalmers has confirmed there’s still a live option around a controversial EV question that could end up costing some Aussies. | 24 Aug 2023 | Treasurer Jim Chalmers has confirmed that the question of a road user charge on electric vehicles to replace fuel excise and pay for road upgrades remains a live option that will be considered by future governments. Experts have called for a debate on a road user charge for years warning that the rapid take up of electric vehicles will decimate fuel revenues. But because electric vehicles are heavier, some studies suggest they deliver twice as much stress on roads compared to petrol vehicles, potentially increasing the expense of upgrading roads in the future.

Japan begins releasing Fukushima radioactive wastewater into Pacific Ocean --Water containing radioactive tritium being pumped into ocean via tunnel from Tepco plant, amid protests from China, South Korea and fishing communities | 24 Aug 2023 | Japan has begun discharging more than 1m tonnes of tainted radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean from the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, news agency Kyodo has reported, a move that has sparked protests and import bans from China and Hong Kong, and anger in nearby fishing communities. The plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco), pumped a small quantity of water from the plant on Thursday, two days after the plan was approved by Japan's government. Tepco said the release began at 1:03pm local time (0403 GMT) and it had not identified any abnormalities with the seawater pump or surrounding facilities. Live video showed engineers behind computer screens and an official saying -- after a countdown -- that the "valves near the seawater transport pumps are opening."

China bans seafood from Japan after Tokyo begins releasing treated radioactive water | 24 Aug 2023 | China announced Thursday it was banning all seafood from Japan in response to Tokyo's decision to begin releasing treated radioactive wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear plant, dramatically escalating an already tense feud between the two neighbors. The release is part of a controversial [insane] plan that has met fierce objections from many consumers as well as some regional countries, with Beijing leading that criticism. The start of the release on Thursday afternoon sparked a fiery tirade from China which described the operation as a "selfish and irresponsible act."

Trump Warns Tucker: "There's a Level of Passion...and Hatred I've Never Seen" and That's "Probably a Bad Combination" | 23 Aug 2023 | Tucker Carlson dropped a tease clip earlier in the evening of what to expect in tonight's interview, taking a jab at his former employer - who will be hosting the GOP debate directly against the discussion with Trump: "Whatever you think of Trump he is the far and away indisputable front runner in the Republican race," Carlson said during the less than minute long video... Tucker asks some stunning questions, including: "Do you think Epstein killed himself?" and “Whatever happened to Mike Pence?" Then Tucker goes there: “It started with protests against you, then impeachment twice, and now indictments... Are you worried that they are going to try to kill you? Why wouldn't they try to kill you?" Trump calmly responds: "I've seen the lengths that they go to... when they make up the Russia, Russia, Russia collusion and that's exposed... these are sick people. I think they hate our country."

Knives out for Ramaswamy in first GOP debate as candidates spar on Trump, Ukraine, and climate --Former President Donald Trump, the front-runner in the GOP presidential primary, did not participate in the debate, citing his polling lead. | 24 Aug 2023 | Candidates had their knives out for tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy on Wednesday night in the first Republican presidential primary debate, with his fellow candidates throwing jabs over his lack of political experience, his stance on Ukraine and his support for pardoning former President Donald Trump, if elected. Eight Republican candidates took the stage in Milwaukee, seeking to win over voters on the road to securing the party nomination for president in 2024. The eight qualifying candidates were Ramaswamy, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

Bret Baier Has to Interrupt Debate to Tell Audience to Stop Booing Chris Christie | 24 Aug 2023 | A heated moment emerged during the first GOP presidential debate for the 2024 election held in Milwaukee tonight. Moderated by Fox News anchor Bret Baier, the debate's temperature spiked when the subject of former President Donald Trump was broached. The question posed was both controversial and critical: "If former President Trump is convicted in a court of law, would you still support him as your party's choice? Please raise your hand if you would." In response, four candidates on the Fox debate stage raised their hands to affirm their continued support for Trump, even under such circumstances. DeSantis and Pence hesitated before also raising their hands, clearly conflicted. Only one candidate, Asa Hutchinson, refrained from raising his hand...  [Vivek defended Trump and blasted Chris Christie.] As Chris Christie tried to defend himself, a wave of booing was directed at him to a point where Baier had to step in and halt the debate. mRNA COVID Vaccines May Be Triggering 'Turbo Cancers' in Young People - Experts | 28 July 2023 | Experts are seeing a puzzling rise in cancer in people younger than 50 that appears biologically different from late-onset cancers... The term "turbo cancers" is commonly used to define aggressive, rapid-onset cancers resistant to treatment--primarily in young, healthy individuals following COVID-19 vaccination. These cases often present in a late stage with metastasis and quickly turn fatal... Dr. Ryan Cole, a pathologist and CEO of Cole Diagnostics told The Epoch Times in a later interview that he first noticed an uptick in certain types of cancers after the vaccine rollout in December 2020 and that he believes that researchers are starting to understand how these cancers are occurring. "Physicians are seeing multiple types of cancers in their day-to-day practices--and in young patient cohorts where you typically don't see cancer. Although the increase in cancer has been blamed on missed screenings, you know it isn't due to missed screenings because young people don't typically get screened," Dr. Cole said. Cancers are increasing at a rate above what's expected, and countless doctors and clinicians around the world have confirmed this. Their patients are cancer-free for years, but then after a booster, cancers "pop up," he said.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAffee on Aug. 22 agreed to a request by four local television stations to bring cameras into the courtroom to record arraignments, marking the first time that one of President Trump's criminal proceedings will be televised. McAffee's order allows recording of video and audio between Aug. 23 and Sept. 8, 2023, which covers the period when Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said she plans to hold the arraignments.

Video footage, which first aired on Jesse Watters Primetime, along with Secret Service records and messages previously reported from Hunter's abandoned laptop, show that Hunter, who co-founded Rosemont Seneca in 2009 with Devon Archer and Christopher Heinz, accompanied then-Vice President Joe Biden during official trips to Europe, Central America, Africa and Asia. In April 2010, Hunter proposed meeting state officials in Serbia with his business associate Mark Doyle, who was a registered foreign agent for Serbia at the time, saying he could "catch a ride" with his father -- "JRB" -- during an official trip to Belgium and Spain.

He has said the hospitals cater to overwhelmingly white patients, which is reflected by local demographics. According to a video reviewed by Fox News Digital, which has since been scrubbed, Polly is shown teaching attendees how to be practitioners of antiracism through a prayer... For example, Polly said that white people acquire "ignorance," "biases" and "racist thoughts" on the basis of their belonging to a "life of whiteness." In a portion of the prayer focused on "dismantling the system," Polly encouraged the white people attending to feel uncomfortable with the messages.

The policy change was announced internally by Sommer McElroy, Response Manager for Lionsgate/Starz, in an email, a copy of which was obtained by Deadline. Implemented in response to several employees recently testing positive for Covid, it involves a mandatory mask mandate effective immediately and until further notice for the 3rd and 5th floors of the five-story building, the email said. "Employees must wear a medical grade face covering (surgical mask, KN95 or N95) when indoors except when alone in an office with the door closed, actively eating, actively drinking at their desk or workstation, or if they are the only individual present in a large open workspace," McElroy said in the memo. [Do not comply.]

Secret Letter to CDC: Top Epidemiologist Suggests Agency Misrepresented Scientific Data to Support Mask Narrative | 21 Aug 2023 | Documents recently obtained from the National Institutes of Health suggest public health officials used inaccurate information and misrepresented medical research to advance their policy objective that masks prevent severe COVID-19 and virus transmission--despite opposing scientific evidence received from experts. In a recently obtained letter sent in November 2021 to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), top epidemiologist Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, and seven colleagues informed the agency it was promoting flawed data and excluding data that did not reinforce their narrative. The letter warned the agency that misrepresenting data on trusted websites such as the CDC and the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network--jointly created by the CDC and Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)--would "damage the credibility of science," endanger public trust by "misrepresenting the evidence," and give the public "false expectations" masking would protect them from the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.

Biden Regime to Push for Nationwide Updated COVID Booster Shots This Fall in Response to New Wave of Infections | 21 Aug 2023 | The Biden regime is planning to encourage all Americans to receive updated COVID-19 booster shots this fall, aiming to counter a potential new wave of infections, a White House official said on Sunday, quoted by Reuters. According to FOX News, "The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the White House's Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy are expected to lead the rollout, which is expected to begin in earnest during the second half of September."& "Aside from COVID vaccinations, the administration is also encouraging Americans to get an annual influenza vaccination in addition to a shot for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) -- both of which are common respiratory illnesses that can cause more severe complications in some cases," the outlet added.

Japan Confirms Release of Fukushima Radioactive Wastewater Into Ocean on Thursday | 22 Aug 2023 | Japan on Tuesday confirmed it will release nuclear wastewater into the Pacific Ocean in a few days amid neighboring countries' concerns. "We expect the discharge to begin on Aug. 24 if weather and sea conditions do not hinder it," Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters after a cabinet meeting in Tokyo, asking the plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company, to make preparations... About 1.2 million metric tons of water was used to cool down fuel rods at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in March 2011. The water will initially be released in smaller portions and with extra checks, with the first discharge totaling 7,800 cubic meters over about 17 days starting Thursday, TEPCO has said. That water will contain about 190 becquerels of tritium per liter, below the World Health [sic] Organization drinking water limit of 10,000 becquerels per liter, according to TEPCO. A becquerel is a unit of radioactivity.

Australia's Misinfo Bill Paves Way for Soviet-Style Censorship --Criminal penalties, including imprisonment, may apply in extreme cases. | 21 Aug 2023 | The Australian Government’s proposed new laws to crack down on misinformation and disinformation have drawn intense criticism for their potential to restrict free expression and political dissent, paving the way for a digital censorship regime reminiscent of Soviet Lysenkoism. Under the draft legislation, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) will gain considerable expanded regulatory powers to "combat misinformation and disinformation," which ACMA says poses a "threat to the safety and wellbeing of Australians, as well as to our democracy, society and economy." ...ACMA will be empowered to devise and enforce digital codes with a "graduated set of tools" including infringement notices, remedial directions, injunctions and civil penalties, with fines of up to $550,000 (individuals) and $2.75 million (corporations). Criminal penalties, including imprisonment, may apply in extreme cases. Controversially, the government will be exempt from the proposed laws, as will professional news outlets, meaning that ACMA will not compel platforms to police misinformation and disinformation disseminated by official government or news sources.

'Everything They Told You About Ukraine Is a Lie' - Tucker Carlson Sits Down With Colonel Douglas Macgregor --Episode 18: Into the abyss: Colonel Douglas Macgregor tells us why the Ukraine war must end now. | 21 Aug 2023 | Tucker Carlson sat down with Colonel Douglas Macgregor in his latest Tucker Carlson on X series. Macgregor has consistently condemned US participation in the Ukrainian War with Russia. The full interview aired on Twitter-X. Tucker exclaimed: "Pretty much everything that NBC News and the New York Times have told you about the war in Ukraine is a lie. 'The Russian army is incompetent,' they claim. 'Ukraine is a democracy.' 'Vladimir Putin is Hitler, and he's trying to take over the world.' Thankfully, the Ukrainians are winning. None of that is true. Every claims is false." (Video)

Warmongering Neocons to Spend $2 Million on Ads for Ukraine War | 19 Aug 2023 | With Republican support for the proxy war in Ukraine continuing to erode, Bill Kristol and fellow warmongering, neocon colleagues have launched a $2 million campaign to rally GOP voters and legislators to the lost cause -- and specifically, to Biden's request that Congress approve another $20.6 billion in Ukraine war funding. While top congressional leaders are expected to back Biden's request, more and more Republican legislators are saying "enough is enough." Kristol routinely spawns new political entities to advance the neocon agenda. In this case, a group called Defending Democracy Together -- an anti-Trump 501(c)(3) of which Kristol is president -- has itself spun out an entity called Republicans for Ukraine. It's a textbook example of astroturfing -- the term that describes a political drive that fosters the illusion of widespread grassroots support for a particular political position... An August CNN/SSRS poll found that 71% of Republicans oppose new funding for the Ukraine war, while 62% of Democrats support it.

Joe Biden sparks outrage by comparing Hawaiian blaze that killed at least 114 to a kitchen fire at his house after making tone-deaf 'hot ground' joke to rescuer - greeted by furious residents he's ignored --Joe Biden and his wife Jill spent five hours on Maui on Monday, interrupting their Lake Tahoe vacation to fly the five hours to Hawaii --The president [sic] was met with signs demanding he go home, and placards asking why Ukraine was receiving billions while they were in dire need --Speaking near the charred ruins of the sacred Banyan Tree, Biden talked about the death of his wife in a car crash; he then made a joke about 'hot ground' | 22 Aug 2023 | Joe Biden on Monday made a shambolic tour of Hawaii - in keeping with his tone-deaf and error-ridden first response to the wildfires. Two weeks after the worst U.S. wildfires in a century, the president and his wife Jill landed on Maui to be met with screams of 'F*** you!' as his motorcade passed. Some were seen waving Trump 2024 flags. The 80-year-old only compounded the anger by delivering a garbled speech at a charred sacred Banyan tree to speak in meandering terms about his own loss - that of his wife and baby daughter in 1972 - and then reference his experience of a house fire at his Delaware home in 2004. His home in Wilmington was struck by lightning, causing a small fire to spark - but it did not spread outside the kitchen. Biden then made a clumsy joke while greeting rescue teams, asking a dog handler whether his boots were reinforced and noting: "Hot ground."

Look Ahead America Debunks Georgia’s Indictment Claim Against Trump By Look Ahead America | 17 Aug 2023 | On Monday night, the state of Georgia filed a criminal indictment against former President Donald Trump and others for knowingly making the "false claim" that "at least 1,043 people voted in the November 3, 2020, presidential election in Georgia who had illegally registered to vote using a post office box." This was asserted on pages 26, 49, 73, and 86 of the indictment. Look Ahead America's Executive Director Matt Braynard made the following statement: The indictment is wrong; this is not a false claim. Look Ahead America’s Voter Integrity Project originated this analysis and we ultimately publicly documented that not only 1,043 but 1,401 voters were illegally registered at post office boxes, etc., and cast ballots in the 2020 General Election. Further, the Georgia Secretary of State and the State Election Board have open investigations into 24 of these voters, and 22 counties in Georgia have removed voters from rolls after we brought these registrations to their attention. Rockdale County alone removed 43 of these illegal registrations. Today, we are sending a copy of the unredacted list of P.O. Box and other non-residential registration addresses to the prosecutor and we will make it available to the attorney of any defendant who requests it. Judicial Watch Sues CIA for Records about Its Role in Intel Letter Attacking Hunter Laptop Story Just Before Election | 21 Aug 2023 | Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the CIA for all communications of the spy agency's Prepublication Classification Review Board (PCRB) regarding an October 19, 2020, email request to review and "clear" a letter signed by 51 former intelligence community officials characterizing the Hunter Biden laptop story as having "all the earmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign" (Judicial Watch v. Central Intelligence Agency (No. 1:23-cv-01844)). In October 2020, in the run-up to the presidential election, the New York Post reported that Hunter Biden's laptop, which was abandoned at a Delaware computer shop, contained embarrassing and possibly incriminating information about the Biden family. In a May 10, 2023, report the House Judiciary Committee revealed that on October 19, 2020, three days before the second presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat candidate Joe Biden, then-Acting CIA Director Michael Morell sent the PCRB the finalized letter for review, calling it a "rush job," and quickly secured its approval.

Federal Judges Strike Down Parts of GOP-Backed Election Integrity Laws in Georgia, Texas | 21 Aug 2023 | Federal judges in Georgia and Texas have struck down key provisions of voting laws passed two years ago as Republicans sought to bolster election integrity after allegations of fraud and other irregularities during the hotly contested 2020 presidential election fueled calls for elections to be made more secure. In Texas, U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez nixed a provision in state law that required officials to reject mail-in ballots with ID numbers that don't match those on voter registration forms, according to a summary judgment issued on Aug. 17 ...Another provision in Texas law that Judge Rodriguez struck down was a requirement that a mail-in ballot can only be accepted if the ID number on the carrier envelope or signature sheet matches the number on the voter registration application. The court ruled that the provisions, which were adopted in September 2021 as part of Texas Senate Bill 1, violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Former First Lady of the U.S. Virgin Islands Cecile de Jongh admitted to staying at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan apartment in 2017 | 20 Aug 2023 | The former First Lady of the US Virgin Islands admitted she stayed at an apartment owned by Jeffrey Epstein while visiting New York for an operation, court documents have revealed. Cecile de Jongh said she had to stay at the pedophile's property rather than with her daughter - who also lived in New York - because his building had an elevator. She also claimed that Epstein's apartment was far more convenient because it was six blocks away from the hospital. In a deposition unsealed as part of a sex trafficking case brought by the USVI government against JPMorgan, de Jongh defended Epstein's practice of giving a turkey to everyone who worked in the customs office at St Thomas, the capital of the territory. [Right, because there were no other apartments or hotels with an elevator available in New York City except for the one owned by a convicted pedophile.]

Nikki Haley Is Hillary 2.0 By Eddie Scarry | 19 Aug 2023 | Nikki Haley has microwaved Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign and made her own all about being a woman, as if Republicans care. Of all the terrible things about Nikki Haley -- her enthusiasm for more foreign war funding, her deference to corporate cultural assault -- the cringe-worthy attempts to hype her status as a woman (A mom! A wife!) and Indian ("I'm a minority first!," "I'm as diverse as it gets!") are the least offensive. But it's still really, really bad. Her whole campaign is Hillary 2.0. Haley currently polls nationally at less than 5 percent, and it’s the same in early Republican primary states Iowa and New Hampshire, so there aren’t a ton of reasons to spend time thinking about her. But it’s truly awe-inspiring that there exist Republicans who still believe there’s anything to gain from the party’s voters by rubbing their faces in identity politics rot.

YouTube to Censor Content Contradicting WHO Guidelines | 17 Aug 2023 | YouTube has introduced a new "medical misinformation policy" that will censor any medical or health-related content that doesn't align with claims made by the World Health Organization (WHO). YouTube earlier had a "COVID-19 Misinformation Policy" webpage that stated that the platform doesn't allow any content that "poses a serious risk of egregious harm” and spreads "medical misinformation" contradicting what the WHO or local health authorities (LHA) say about the COVID-19 pandemic. The webpage now redirects to a "medical misinformation policy" page that expands the censorship rule to "specific health conditions and substances" rather than COVID-19 alone. Content that contradicts guidance on treatments, including promoting "specific harmful substances or practices" not approved by authorities or the WHO as safe and effective, also won't be allowed on the platform. Claims that vaccines cause chronic side effects "outside of rare side effects" recognized by health authorities would be deemed as "vaccine misinformation" by YouTube.

Biden Admin Preparing to Bring Back Full Covid Restrictions, Rollout to Begin Mid-September - Report | 18 Aug 2023 | Whistleblowers from the TSA and Border Patrol have raised the alarm to Infowars that the Biden administration is setting the stage for full Covid lockdowns that will begin with incremental restrictions like masking TSA employees in mid-September. The first source, a high-level TSA official confirmed and known to Infowars, reached out to Infowars and cited a Tuesday meeting in which TSA managers were told new memorandums and policies were being completed that would reimplement masking, starting with TSA and airport employees as early as mid-September. The TSA official also said next week they will receive new guidelines on how the policy will escalate: by mid-October, mask-wearing will be required by pilots, flight staff, passengers, and airport patrons. After hearing from the TSA manager, Infowars reached out to our trusted Border Patrol source who is also a manager. This source confirmed the same directives were being given to Border Patrol. They were told it was not a matter of "if" but "when" official Covid numbers will go back up and they expect by mid-October a return to forced-masking policies that the Biden administration previously only reluctantly ended after massive pressure.

Gloomy scientists call for people to start wearing Covid masks again as they sound alarm over new variant BA.6 that has 'a lot of new mutations' | 15 Aug 2023 | Experts today sounded the alarm over a fresh Covid wave after detecting a variant that has "a lot of new mutations." Some UK scientists -- known for making gloomy predictions earlier in the pandemic -- are so concerned they have advised people to mask up again. The new sub-strain -- which doesn't have an official name but has been dubbed BA.6 -- has only been spotted in two countries so far, Denmark and Israel. But it is causing concern among some due to the number of mutations it has on its spike protein, the piece of the virus that vaccines were [allegedly] designed to target.

Ottawa Detective Disciplined for Probing COVID Vaccine Link to Infant Deaths Discussed Spike in Deaths With Chief, Hearing Told | 17 Aug 2023 | An audio recording played at the pre-trial for Helen Grus--an Ottawa Police Service (OPS) detective being charged with disorderly conduct for investigating the vaccination status of the mothers of deceased infants--showed she sent two emails to then-Police Chief Peter Sloly to discuss a spike in infant deaths and a number of police officers with COVID-19 vaccine-related heart problems. "Overall, my intention...depending on what I found and the information I collected online for further investigation, was to present a case package to OPS, to SACA [Sexual Assault and Child Abuse] team, and say, 'There's something alarming going on, we had dealt with a huge spike in baby deaths, and what are we going to do about it?'" Ms. Grus told Sergeant Jason Arbuthnot during the investigation conducted by the Professional Standards Unit... Ms. Grus, a detective with the OPS sexual assault and child abuse unit investigating child abuse and neglect, faces a charge of discreditable conduct for conducting an "unauthorized project" between June 2020 and January 2022 by probing into the sudden deaths of nine infants.

COVID victims’ families sue EcoHealth Alliance for 'creating" the virus and 'releasing it' | 15 Aug 2023 | The families of four people who died from COVID-19 are suing EcoHealth Alliance, a nonprofit group that funded research in Wuhan, China, for allegedly "creating" the virus and "releasing it, either intentionally or accidentally." According to the lawsuit filed by Jenny Golden, Monique Adams, Traci Osuna, Melissa Carr, and Paul Rinker, Manhattan-based EcoHealth Alliance and the group's president, Peter Daszak, were aware of the virus's dangers and knew it was "capable of causing a worldwide pandemic in the human population." The family members argued in the lawsuit that the EcoHealth Alliance, Daszak and scientists at the Wuhan, China laboratory, "escaped the controlled laboratory environment, infected human beings, spread throughout the human population in a global pandemic, and infected and seriously injured" Paul Rinker, and infected, seriously injured and killed Mary Conroy, Larry W. Carr, Raul Osuna, and Emma D. Holley.

Kiev has been requesting the US-made warplanes for months. CIA knows Ukraine's counteroffensive will fail - Seymour Hersh | 17 Aug 2023 | The CIA warned US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Ukraine’s ongoing counteroffensive against Russian forces would fail, and that Kiev "will not win the war," American journalist Seymour Hersh reported on Thursday. Blinken "has figured out that the United States -- that is, our ally [the Nazis and child traffickers in] Ukraine -- will not win the war" against Russia, Hersh wrote on his Substack blog, quoting an anonymous US intelligence official. "The word was getting to him through the Agency [CIA] that the17 Ukrainian offense was not going to work," Hersh's source continued, without specifying when these warnings began to surface. "It was a show by [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky and there were some in the administration who believed his bulls**t." ...Despite knowing that Ukraine's prospects were grim, CIA Director William Burns reportedly took this opportunity to approach the White House and offer support for Joe Biden's policy of indefinite military aid for Kiev, with the aim of securing a higher position in the Biden administration.

1.3 Million Tons of Fukushima Nuclear Wastewater Being Dumped Into Pacific Ocean | 15 Aug 2023 | Unbeknownst to most people, Japan is currently in the process of releasing about a million tons of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. The reason for this stems from what happened 12 years ago, during the Fukushima nuclear disaster. An earthquake and a subsequent tsunami caused a near meltdown of a nuclear power plant in Japan. The situation was a complete mess: the reactors shut down, and the backup generators that fuelled the cooling system lost power, which then led to three nuclear meltdowns and the contamination of a million tons of water. For the past 12 years, Japan has kept this water inside of the plant where they have been slowly treating it, but they have now run out of space. And so, the Japanese government has announced that they will begin to slowly release this treated radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. (Facts Matter - Epoch TV)

South Koreans Rally Against Japanese Plans to Release Treated Nuclear Wastewater Into Sea | 12 Aug 2023 | Anxious about Japan's impending release of treated nuclear wastewater from the tsunami-damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant, hundreds [? A lot more than that: 90% of South Koreans are against the release of Fukushima's radioactive water] of South Koreans marched in their capital on Saturday. Protesters called for Tokyo to abandon the plans, and expressed anger toward Seoul for endorsing the discharge despite alleged food safety risks. Saturday's rally was the latest of weeks-long protests since the International Atomic Energy Agency approved the Japanese discharge plans in July, saying that the process would meet international safety standards and pose negligible environmental and health impacts.

As the death toll rose to 101 as rescuers combed the rubble in Lahaina, Hawaii, the president told the crowd that there were still fires on the Big Island - also known as Hawaii. He pointed out the fires were blazing on the Big Island, not Maui, but appeared to struggle to name Maui. "The Army helicopters helped fire suppression efforts on the Big Island because there's still some burning on the Big Island -- not the one that, not the one where you see on television all the time," he said. On Sunday, he added to anger by replying 'no comment' when asked, after spending two hours at the beach in Delaware, for his reaction to the tragedy.

The appeal involved the conviction of James Leslie Little, 52, of Claremont, North Carolina, on a single count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

I'M YOUR MAN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

It wasn't just any private account. It was one of three pseudonym accounts used by Joe Biden. Soon after the then-vice president would forward the information to his globetrotting son Hunter Biden with the subject line "Fwd: Mr. O'Connor Being Released from Detention today." The email is one of more than a dozen that Just the News obtained and reviewed over the last two years showing how Joe Biden's personal email accounts were sometimes used during his first White House tenure to forward government information or discuss government  business with his son.

The Justice Department submitted a filing last week to dismiss the case ahead of a possible trial on Biden's felony gun charge in a different district. After the plea deal fell apart, Biden pleaded "not guilty" as federal prosecutors confirmed he is still under federal investigation. He was expected to plead guilty to the two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax as part of the plea deal to avoid jail time on the felony gun charge.

Manhattan judge refuses to recuse himself from Trump case despite donations to Biden, Democratic causes | 15 Aug 2023 | The Manhattan judge handling the hush money payments case against former President Trump has refused to recuse himself from the case following a request from Trump's legal team. Judge Juan Merchan affirmed his ability to be "fair and impartial" in an opinion rejecting arguments from Trump's legal team stating that he should recuse himself. Trump's lawyers had pointed to small donations Merchan made to Democratic causes for the 2020 election. The case against Trump relates to alleged hush money he paid to adult "actress" Stormy Daniels ahead of his 2016 presidential campaign.

Biden raises eyebrows for claiming he watched 2022 bridge collapse in Pittsburgh --'I got there and saw it collapse,' Biden tells Milwaukee crowd | 15 Aug 2023 | Joe Biden raised eyebrows on social media Tuesday after he told a crowd in Wisconsin that he watched a bridge collapse in Pittsburgh last year. Biden was touting his [disastrous] economic policies during a stop at Ingeteam, a wind turbine generator manufacturer in Milwaukee, when he brought up the 2022 collapse. "A lot of you were with me when I was in Pittsburgh," he said. "I watched that bridge collapse," he said. "I got there and saw it collapse with over 200 feet off the ground going over a valley. It collapsed. Thank God school was out during the pandemic." On Jan. 28, 2022, hours before Biden’s arrival in Pittsburgh for a pre-planned speech, the 477-foot Forbes Avenue Bridge collapsed, injuring multiple people. Biden reportedly gave his speech four miles from the bridge, and he later visited the site of the damage, but he did not witness the collapse firsthand.

Trump Lawyers Blast Corrupt Fulton County DA for Prematurely Posting RICO Charges on Website - County Clerk Claims Docs 'Fictitious' | 14 Aug 2023 | President Trump's lawyers Drew Findling and Jennifer Little blasted Fulton County for posting the proposed charges against Trump before the grand jury even deliberated. The corrupt Fulton County court website briefly posted several charges against Trump - including RICO charges - before the grand jury had even closed. A Fulton County clerk said the Trump indictment documents posted online were "fictitious." However, the document had an assigned case number and judge. President Trump's lawyers said of the documents posted online: "This was not a simple administrative mistake. The Fulton County District Attorney's Office has once again shown that they have no respect for the integrity of the grand jury process. This was not a simple administrative mistake. A proposed indictment should only be in the hands of the District Attorney's Office, yet it somehow made its way to the clerk's office and was assigned a case number and a judge before the grand jury even deliberated," the lawyers wrote.

A Fulton County grand jury began hearing from witnesses at about noon Monday. The wire service also published a copy of the document listing the charges before it was removed from the site. A spokesperson for county District Attorney Fani Willis said the report of charges being filed was “inaccurate” but declined further comment, according to the Associated Press.

Engineers Discover Nationwide Cellular Network Connects Election Equipment and Gives Federal Government Access to Election Systems at Precinct Level - Report | 14 Aug 2023 | A growing majority of Americans know the 2020 election was fraudulent... Experts could not fully explain how systems within individual precincts which are supposedly "air-gapped" were adding votes in real-time -- such as KnowInk poll pads in Texas that added hundreds of votes to the 2022 midterm election after the polls had closed. To accomplish election fraud at individual polling places, it is necessary to have an air-interface with the supposedly "air-gapped" equipment networked at the polling place. A year-long research project led by an election integrity investigator from Utah, Sophie Anderson, and communications engineer, Dr. Charles Bernardin, has uncovered the mechanism that is being used to connect our election equipment at polling places across the nation... After submitting a countless number of public documents requests from multiple federal, state, and local governments, and working with other grassroots researchers, the team realized that the federal government has indeed created a nationwide network that is capable of collecting and changing real-time voting data at polling places across the country from a central location. The private network tool is called FirstNet, and like so many things that have proven detrimental to American liberty -- it was sold as a tool to ensure public safety.

Hunter Biden's appointed special counsel called a 'clear violation,' 'illegal' | 14 Aug 2023 | Chiming in on the appointment of Hunter Biden’s special counsel, a prominent Harvard law professor is warning that the U.S. attorney leading the investigation is in "clear violation" of the Department of Justice's regulations. "It's illegal. The regulation provides clearly that special counsel have to come from outside the government for good reason. What's so special about a special counsel is that he doesn't have to answer to the present administration, he's independent," Harvard University law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said on Mornings with Maria Monday. "But if you have somebody who serves at the pleasure of the attorney general, and obviously as the U.S. attorney serves his pleasures [as] part of the administration, that person shouldn't be serving," he continued. "It's in clear violation of the regulation itself." On Friday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed U.S. attorney David Weiss as special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe investigating the alleged Biden family business dealings. Weiss had also previously led the [lack of] prosecution in Hunter Biden's tax and gun charges.

NIH Royalty Payments Raise Questions About Fauci Testimony, Show Wuhan Lab Ties - Watchdog | 10 Aug 2023 | The National Institute of Health (NIH) received approximately $325 million in royalty payments over a 12-year span from pharmaceutical companies and research organizations, according to new documents obtained by nonprofit government transparency organization Open The Books. Open The Books received records detailing more than 56,000 royalty payments to NIH members Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) between 2009 and 2021. The government watchdog organization has been seeking these NIH royalty payment records for nearly two years, as part of a series of FOIA requests. The NIH has fought the document disclosure requests and these documents came through new productions in a Washington, D.C., federal court case. Last year, Open The Books estimated the NIH received as much as $350 million in royalty payments between 2009 and 2020. The organization revised that figure downward as the NIH provided new details about its royalty payments.

Ukraine matters to Biden more than Hawaii - Ron Paul | 14 Aug 2023 | Joe Biden is demanding another $24 billion for Ukraine while the US "disintegrates," former Texas congressman Ron Paul wrote on Monday, pointing out the unprecedented devastation from the Hawaii fires. It's "hard to look at recent footage of the devastation in Maui and then hear President [sic] Biden tell Congress that he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine,” Paul said. "How can this Administration continue to justify tens of billions of dollars for this losing war that is not in our interest while the rest of the United States disintegrates?” The US has poured "well over $120 billion" into the "proxy war on Russia," Paul added. He cited a Heritage Foundation analysis that calculated this comes out to $900 from each and every US household, at a time when most Americans say they can't afford a $1,000 emergency. "How many Americans would rather have those $900 dollars back in their pocket rather than in the pockets of Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, and Ukraine's oligarchs?” Paul asked, noting that even the establishment media is now admitting "Ukraine is not winning and cannot win."

Democrat allowed illegal immigrant charged with sex crime to move into America's top tourist spot --Second migrant part of Adams resettlement program charged for sexually assaulting woman --Western New York's Erie County says no more asylum seekers will be sent from NYC after arrest of 22-year-old migrant | 13 Aug 2023 | The National Guard has been deployed to western New York after a second migrant brought there through New York City Mayor Eric Adams's (D) controversial [insane] resettlement program was arrested on sexual abuse charges. Erie County officials charged that a third party contracted by New York City to handle the migrant hotel operation might have obstructed local police investigations into the assaults and are demanding that the Biden administration and Congress act at the federal level to properly address the crisis. At a press conference Saturday, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, a Democrat, said no more asylum seekers would be sent from New York City until security measures involving the migrants could improve. He said New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) agreed to place National Guard members at each of the hotels housing asylum seekers to act as a "stabilizing presence." [Just close the border - problem solved.]

Sen. Ron Johnson Claims COVID Was 'Pre-Planned by Elite Group,' Citing Event 201 Exercise in Connection With Johns Hopkins Center, WEF, and Gates Foundation --'We're up against a very powerful group of people here.' | 11 Aug 2023 | In an appearance on Fox News's Mornings With Maria on Friday, member of Senate Homeland Security and ranking member of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, Ron Johnson (R-WI), dropped a truth bomb regarding the origins and handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking with host Maria Bartiromo, Johnson suggested that the pandemic was pre-planned by an "elite group of people" and cited Event 201, a pandemic exercise conducted in late 2019, as evidence. "This is all pre-planned by an elite group of people," said Johnson. "That's what I’m talking about. Event 201 that occurred in late 2019, prior to the rest of us knowing about this pandemic. Again, this is very concerning in terms of what has happened, what is happening, and what continues to be planned for our loss of freedom. Again, it needs to be exposed. But unfortunately, there are very few people, even in Congress that are willing to take a look at this. They all pushed the vaccine. They don't want to be made aware of the fact that the vaccines might have caused injuries, might have caused death. So many people just simply don't want to admit they were wrong, and they're going to do everything they can to make sure that they're not proven wrong," Johnson added. "But we're up against a very powerful group of people here, Maria."

EPA Authorizes Release of 2 Billion More GMO Mosquitoes as Reports of Malaria Surface in States That Already Released Them | 8 Aug 2023 | Genetically engineered (GE) mosquitoes created by biotechnology company Oxitec have been released in the U.S. in Florida and Texas. In March 2022, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) granted Oxitec a two-year extension of its experimental use permit, or EUP, which would allow the biotech company to release additional GE mosquitoes in Florida as well as in four counties in California for the first time. While the EPA extended Oxitec's EUP both the Florida Department of Agriculture and California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) must approve Oxitec's testing in order for it to move forward in their states. Locally acquired malaria has been nonexistent in the U.S. for the last 20 years, but five such cases have recently been diagnosed -- four in Florida and one in Texas... The Gates Foundation is heavily invested in the GMO (genetically modified organism) mosquito project, investing more than $30 million in Oxitec. Most of it -- more than $20 million -- is aimed at U.S. regions.

Biden Has Handed Taliban Over $2 Billion in 2 Years, SIGAR Report Finds | 9 Aug 2023 | A report by the Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction (SIGAR) notes that the Biden administration has given $2.35 billion to Afghanistan over the past two years, despite the fact that it is now ruled by the Taliban again following the disastrous U.S. withdrawal in 2021. The Washington Free Beacon shared details of the findings Tuesday, noting that the funds could be propping up the Taliban's terrorist government. The SIGAR report found that approximately $1.7 billion "remained available for possible disbursement" at the time writing. The Beacon notes "it is more than likely that a sizable portion of these funds will end up in the terror group's coffers." The Taliban are viewing international aide as a "revenue stream,” according to the report... The findings come after John Sopko, head of SIGAR, told the House Foreign Affairs Committee in April that he "cannot assure this committee or the American taxpayer we are not currently funding the Taliban," and accused the Biden administration of blocking his efforts to find out.

Florida Republican introduces impeachment articles against Joe Biden --'It's long past time to impeach Joe Biden,' Steube said in a statement | 12 Aug 2023 | Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., jumped ahead of his Republican colleagues on Friday and introduced articles of impeachment against President Biden. While several congressional committees are building a multipronged case to remove Biden from office, Steube said it was past time to take action. He filed ;articles of impeachment against Biden charging that the president had been complicit in his son Hunter's alleged crimes and had worked to shield him from justice. "It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden," Steube said in a statement. "He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America's citizens." Steube filed four articles alleging high crimes and misdemeanors by Biden.

Weiss appointment as Hunter Biden special counsel violates DOJ regulations, experts warn --Weiss, the sitting U.S. Attorney for Delaware, has been pursuing an investigation into Hunter Biden for years. | 12 Aug 2023 | Attorney General Merrick Garland's appointment of Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss to serve as special counsel in the Hunter Biden criminal probe is raising alarm with some legal experts who say it explicitly violates the Justice Department's regulations requiring such appointments come from outside the agency. That regulation states: "An individual named as Special Counsel shall be a lawyer with a reputation for integrity and impartial decision-making, and with appropriate experience to ensure both that the investigation will be conducted ably, expeditiously and thoroughly, and that investigative and prosecutorial decisions will be supported by an informed understanding of the criminal law and Department of Justice policies. The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government." Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz told the Just the News, No Noise television show Friday night he believed it was a mistake for Garland to name the current Delaware U.S. attorney, both because he was from inside the government and had approved an earlier plea deal for Hunter Biden that spared the first son from prison but was rejected by the trial judge and panned by many as too lenient.

Judge Snubs Special Counsel, Issues Limited Gag Order in Trump Election Case | 11 Aug 2023 | District Judge Tanya Chutkan opposed the request by prosecutors to bar former President Donald Trump from revealing non-sensitive evidence provided to him by the prosecutors ahead of the trial on whether he conspired to illegally obstruct the counting of the 2020 electoral votes. During an Aug. 11 hearing in Washington, she decided to issue a gag order that only forbids the release of information prosecutors label as sensitive. The prosecutors, with the office of special counsel Jack Smith, requested a blanket gag order, citing concerns over safety and intimidation of witnesses.

Prosecutors obtained warrant for Trump's Twitter account, judge fined company $350,000 for delay --Smith obtained a warrant directing Twitter to produce "data and records" relating to the former president's account. | 9 Aug 2023 | Federal prosecutors led by Special Counsel Jack Smith obtained a search warrant in January for materials related to former President Donald Trump's Twitter account, and a judge fined the social media platform $350,000 for delaying compliance with the warrant, court documents released Wednesday show. The information was revealed in a federal appeals court decision rejecting the social media platform's claim that a lower court was wrong to hold it in contempt and impose the fine. Smith obtained a warrant directing Twitter, which has since been renamed X, to produce "data and records" relating to the former president's account on the platform, according to the filing obtained by The Associated Press.

Dem Gov Katie Hobbs requested Twitter censor critics of tweet comparing Trump supporters to Nazis | 10 Aug 2023 | Democratic Arizona Governor [sic] Katie Hobbs requested the social media website formerly known as Twitter to censor critics of her tweet that compared supporters of former President Donald Trump to Nazis. In August 2017, while serving in the Arizona state legislature, Hobbs attacked Trump in a tweet, when she compared the former president's voter base to neo-Nazis. "[Trump] has made it abundantly clear he's more interested in pandering to his neo-nazi base than being [president] for all Americans," Hobbs wrote on her campaign Twitter account. Hobbs was roasted online for the tweet, which did not sit well with her as she advanced in her political career to become Arizona secretary of state. The post had critics online call into question Hobbs's impartiality when administering the election, and, according to emails obtained by Fox News Digital from conservative political organization Arizona Capitol Oversight, Hobbs tried to get Twitter [now X] to censor the criticism against her.

Accusations of Fraud and Illegal Activity Pile Up Regarding Arizona's Elections | 9 Aug 2023 | Kari Lake and Abe Hamadeh continue to contest their election losses in the 2022 election for governor and attorney general respectively, producing ongoing new evidence of irregularities and possible wrongdoing in the election. Much of the evidence has taken months to come out, including evidence related to the problematic 2020 presidential election, due to stonewalling by Maricopa County and other government agencies at turning it over. Maricopa County mostly ignored four repeat requests for data and equipment regarding the 2020 election from Jennifer Wright, the Election Integrity Unit civil attorney for the attorney general's office, who resigned at the end of 2022 and now represents Hamadeh in his election contest. Much of the evidence appears to show violations of the state's Election Procedures Manual, which are Class 2 misdemeanors. While not all of the alleged violations can be described as fraud, many of them can be characterized as alleged criminal activity. Here is a look back at some of the most serious complaints regarding alleged wrongdoing during Arizona’s 2020 and 2022 elections...

U.S. to place restrictions on unfrozen Iranian funds --In addition to unfreezing billions in Iranian funds, Washington would also release five Iranians currently locked in U.S. prisons. | 12 Aug 2023 | The United States will maintain restrictions on $6 billion in seized Iranian assets set to be released as part of a prisoner swap deal, under which Tehran is expected to release five detained Americans. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby commented on the arrangement on Friday, telling reporters that the U.S. would keep a close watch on where the resources are sent. He stressed that talks are ongoing, however, and "the deal is not done." "Essentially, the funds can only be accessed for food, medicine, medical equipment that would not have a dual military use," Kirby said, adding: "There will be a rigorous process of due diligence and standards applied with input from the U.S. Treasury Department."

Maui 'wildfires' deadliest in a century after death toll hits 89 | 13 Aug 2023 | The death toll from the Maui wildfires Directed Energy Weapons-induced fires reached 89 on Saturday, making it the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century - and the total is likely to rise in coming days as search teams with cadaver dogs continue sifting through the ruins of Lahaina. The scale of the damage came into sharper focus, four days after a fast-moving blaze leveled the historic resort town, obliterating buildings and melting cars [while the trees remained standing]. The cost to rebuild Lahaina was estimated at $5.5 billion, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), with more than 2,200 structures damaged or destroyed and more than 2,100 acres (850 hectares) burned.

Lahaina Was Destroyed by a Directed Energy Weapon By Edward Hendrie | 12 Aug 2023 | There were some strange things about the alleged wildfire at Lahaina, Hawaii... The wildfire would only make sense if a forest of trees surrounded the city of Lahaina. That is the first problem with the story. There is no forest near the town. Indeed, the satellite photo below shows that the tallest trees near the city belong to the Maui Kuaia Estate Cacao Farm. Cacao trees are pretty small ranging in height between 13 and 26 feet. But those trees are across a highway several hundred yards from the nearest building. What about the trees within the city itself? There are lots of trees in the town. But when we look at the photos of the city after the alleged fire, we find that the trees in the town are mainly intact. Strangely, buildings that have been destroyed allegedly by fire are surrounded by trees untouched by flames. Something else is going on here. That something else is directed energy. The buildings were destroyed by directed energy weapons. Directed energy weapons use microwaves. They cause molecular destruction of materials that absorb them; wood remains unfazed because wood absorbs very little microwave radiation. It is similar to how you can put a paper plate in a microwave oven without concern that it will catch fire. But if you put aluminum foil into that same microwave oven, it will quickly begin to spark and burst into flames. [The motive? BlackRock can then swoop in and buy the most expensive real estate in the world for pennies on the dollar while we're forced to live in 15-minute cities. --LRP]

Maui DEW Firestorm Levels Lahaina - Video Proof By James Grundvig | 11 Aug 2023 | The Maui fire investigators and local government will soon label the firestorm that nuked Lahaina but left its green trees standing in place but wilted, either as arson or climate change... Beyond natural wildfire or ground-level arson fires, there is a third and far more likely sore for the firestorm: Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs)... What I saw in 2017 and what I see today in Maui are one and the same events. Only microwave technology as in DEW--whether military lasers or HAARP--can explain how the structures not only burned down, but melted kitchen appliances, bathtubs, metal alloy wheel rims, and far more...  From 2017 article: "The wildfires weren't wild at all. The houses cooked from the inside out. They often burned from the top of the roofs, incinerating the walls, floors, and appliances, and cladding down to the foundation. Yet, 90 percent of the trees on the properties remained standing with leaves on the branches--not burnt, merely dried out. It was as if a neutron bomb had detonated burning everything manmade, but leaving the greenery alone."

FBI kills Trump supporter Craig Robertson, a 300-pound, 75-year-old 'teddy bear' Air Force veteran who needed cane to walk and took care of blind son --Trump supporter killed in FBI raid was a 'teddy bear' who cared for blind son but the 'type to sleep with gun under his pillow' - neighbor | 10 Aug 2023 | Neighbors described the man shot in an FBI raid on his home in Utah after he made threats to assassinate Joe Biden as a "decent guy" who cared for his blind son but was the "type to sleep with a gun under his pillow."Craig Robertson, 75, allegedly pointed a gun at law enforcement during the incident Wednesday which led to what locals described as a "hail of bullets" at the home in Provo. Robertson was then dragged out of the house and bled out on the sidewalk outside his home covered under a sheet, according to local reports. "I just can't believe that this man warranted that kind of response," Travis Clark, who lived on the same street as Robertson, told the Deseret News. Others were shocked by the huge police response to the home of the 300-pound Air Force veteran turned carpenter, who walked around with a cane as he was barely mobile, according to people who knew him.

Man forced to ditch $115K Ford EV truck during family road trip to Chicago: 'biggest scam of modern times' --Bala said he was initially motivated to buy an environmentally friendly vehicle as owning one is 'responsible citizenship' | 10 Aug 2023 | A Canadian man is calling electric vehicles the "biggest scam of modern times" after his frustrating experience with an electric truck. Dalbir Bala, who lives in the Winnipeg area, bought a Ford F150 Lightning EV in January for $115,000, plus tax. But Bala was quickly hit with the reality of owning and operating an EV soon after the purchase. The vehicle compelled him to install two charges -- one at work and one at home -- for $10,000. To accommodate the charger, he had to upgrade his home’s electric panel for $6,000. In all, Bala spent more than $130,000 -- plus tax. Not long after the purchase, Bala got into a minor accident which, he said, required "light assembly" on the front bumper. Bala took the vehicle to the body shop and did not get it back for six months...

Trump Reveals Jan. 6 Committee Illegally Destroyed Their Records and Documents Now That He Has Full Subpoena Power | 8 Aug 2023 | President Donald Trump dropped a bombshell report on his Truth Social platform that the sham committee overseeing the investigation of the January 6 Capitol riot has destroyed their documents and records illegally. On Tuesday evening, Trump wrote: "So now that I have full Subpoena Power because of the Freedom of Speech Sham Indictment by Crooked Joe Biden, Deranged Jack Smith, and the DOJ, it has just been reported that the Unselect January 6th Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs has illegally destroyed their Records and Documents. This is unthinkable, and the Fake Political Indictment against me must be immediately withdrawn. The system is Rigged & Corrupt, very much like the Presidential Election of 2020. We are a Nation in Decline!" The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Dr. Jan Halper-Hayes, during a recent interview, said that special counsel Jack Smith made a huge mistake in indicting Trump related to Jan. 6 incident because it gives him the power to subpoena people.

Insane in the membrane: Yet more indictments: Prosecution of 2020 alternate electors in six of seven states likely --The seven states with alternate electors were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. | 8 Aug 2023 | In Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictment of former President Donald Trump regarding the 2020 presidential election and Jan. 6, the issue of alternate electors from seven states has become another focal point, as officials -- all Democrats -- from six of those states determine whether to prosecute. In the federal indictment of Trump last week, Smith charged the former president with four counts, including conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of, and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights. The indictment also acknowledges six unnamed co-conspirators with whom Trump allegedly did "conspire, confederate, and agree" to defraud the country. Under the first count, Smith elaborated on the alternate electors in the seven states, calling them "fake" and "fraudulent."

Federal judge delivers multiple blows to DOJ special counsel in Trump classified docs case --Special Counsel Jack Smith's use of out-of-state grand jury to continue investigating case questioned | 7 Aug 2023 | The federal judge overseeing the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump delivered multiple blows to Special Counsel Jack Smith's efforts in a brief Monday. Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida -- who is presiding over the case that stems from a Miami grand jury's June indictment of Trump -- denied the Department of Justice's (DOJ) request for sealed filings, striking two from the record. Cannon also requested additional information from prosecutors about the continued use of an out-of-state grand jury to investigate the case. "The Special Counsel states in conclusory terms that the supplement should be sealed from public view 'to comport with grand jury secrecy,' but the motion for leave and the supplement plainly fail to satisfy the burden of establishing a sufficient legal or factual basis to warrant sealing the motion and supplement," Cannon wrote in the brief, denying the DOJ's request.

FBI Agent Lied Under Oath About Knowledge of Hunter Biden Laptop - Rep. Jordan | 7 Aug 2023 | FBI Special Agent Elvis Chan made “false statements” under oath about the bureau’s investigation and suppression of Hunter Biden's laptop, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Monday. Mr. Chan, a member of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force, was deposed in November 2022 on the FBI's efforts to suppress news of the laptop as it spread across social media just before the 2020 election. According to a transcript of that deposition, the agent testified that he had "no internal knowledge" of the FBI’s investigation of the laptop and only became aware that the agency had the laptop in its possession "when news media outlets posted it, or published it." ...And when asked whether he was aware of any other communications between anyone at Facebook and anyone at the FBI related to the laptop, he replied, "No." But according to Mr. Jordan, internal documents his committee obtained from Facebook show that those statements were "completely false."

Rody, who left the federal government in 2011 before returning last year, made the bulk of his donations while working in private practice. Other notable donations include $5,600 given to elect Biden in 2020 and $500 to then-candidate Kamala Harris in 2019.

Trump calls for recusal of judge in Jan. 6 case 'on very powerful grounds' | 6 Aug 2023 | Former President Donald Trump claimed Sunday there is "no way" he'll get a fair trial over the election-meddling indictment he faces -- calling for a new venue and judge to oversee the federal case. Trump, 77, said his lawyers will be asking for the recusal of Washington, D.C., federal court Judge Tanya Chutkan -- who is overseeing the case regarding the ex-president's alleged attempts to thwart the 2020 election -- "on very powerful grounds." According to CBS News, Timothy C. Parlatore, a former member of Trump's defense team who is currently working as an attorney for former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, said that he submitted "absolutely exculpatory" documents to the special counsel's office and was "stunned" by the Tuesday indictment. Kerik -- who worked alongside former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in the weeks following the 2020 election as Trump’s lawyers mounted legal challenges in several states -- had testified in front of the Democrats’ January 6 committee for eight hours, according to CNN.

Missouri Democratic Party Account Suggests Setting Fire to Trump Supporter's Home in Since Deleted-Tweet | 3 Aug 2023 | A social media account belonging to the Missouri Democratic Party appeared to promoted the idea of setting fire to the home of an apparent avid Trump supporter in a now-deleted post. Mr. Cooper included the caption “What would you do if this was your next-door neighbor?” Mr. Cooper’s X post garnered thousands of replies, including one from an official account for the Missouri Democratic Party, which read "The roof, the roof is on [fire], we don't need no water, let the 'insert your word' burn!" The X post also included the note, "#VoteBlue2024." The post from the Missouri Democratic Party account included fire emojis and appeared to be a reference to the 1984 song "The Roof is on Fire" by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. The lyrics to the song go, "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire. We don't need no water, let the [expletive] burn."

The former president stands as the runaway favorite to win the Republican nomination, however, with 54% of registered voters backing him compared to 18% who preferred DeSantis.
