The major distinction our group draws between Bush and Gore is this: Gore won the last presidential election, and Bush stole it. With the help of the Republican party and its judicial apologists and constitutional heretics, Bush and co. overthrew the national and legitimate electoral vote, and stole the election. This theft amounted to a a veritable coup d'etat in the United States of America in the year 2000. Any other distinction we draw is secondary to this most fundamental one, from which all following fraud flows.
This is our major contention with Bush & Co: he was involved in a hostile takeover of the US government, in violation of the Constitution, and with the assistance of the Supreme Court, in a ruling that violated all constitutional and legal reasoning and violated the oaths of the Justices to recuse themselves in cases of a conflict of interest. Seven hundred legal scholars have said the same. The Constitution was violated in several ways: firstly through a completely egregious misuse of the "equal protection clause" in such a way as to give NO ONE protection--and to hand it to only one person, when the voters themselves were not protected at all. In fact, all of the votes were disqualified, except for those of five corrupt, interested, biased and very terribly unethical jurists. Legal scholars have referred to their ruling as the worst in U.S. history, with some going so far as to call it a crime. Seven hundred legal scholars publicly decried the decision as the worst on record, and completely and utterly flawed.
Now, while THEORETICALLY either side could have stolen the election, we do not think it really likely that the party favoring democratic rights would do so--rather, the party that fears votes and voters, and loses when too many of them show up and are counted, is the one most likely to be anti-democratic. This tendency has been carried forward from the theft of the election, to the continual overthrowing of the will of the people by the Bush administration (we like to call it the mis-ministration).
And, while there is no law against being a socialist (though anyone with a political IQ over 10 would surely never call Al Gore one!), there are a few against stealing elections.

>al gore is a scumbag communist. this a fact certain. some say bush is a fascist.
> at the very worst though, bush and gore are 2 sides of the same coin (like stalin and hitler), but for certain gore is a treasonous marxist pig.
> don't glorify it.
