Michael Rectenwald, Ph.D. replies to a reader who states that he is 'DISGUSTED' Michael Rectenwald, Ph.D. replies, April 4, 2005 "I WAS RAISED AS A DEMOCRAT BUT WHEN I RELIAZED THAT IT WAS THE MAN WITH THE MONEY THAT COULD GIVE ME A JOB, I CHANGED TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY."
In other words, your loyalty can be purchased. Did it ever occur to you that those who can give you a job have power over you, and this power comes at your expense in the first place? Youre like the 19th century tenant farmer whose vote could be bought by his land owner, because he was afraid of losing his lease. Meanwhile, he forgot that in so giving him the vote, he ensured his own servitude.
"WHEN YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN DEEDS AND QUIT BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE FOR YOUR SHORTCOMINGS, YOU CAN START CONCENTRATING ON MAKING SOMETHING OUT OF YOURSELF."
None of us are blaming others for OUR shortcomings. We are blaming others for THEIRS, particularly their "shortcomings" of lying, stealing and plundering the government for their friends' sake. That we call 'not taking personality responsibility,' like blaming the CIA for its intelligence report, which they ordered in the first place.
As for Florida, what is more likely, that the governor who was Bushs brother, and the head of elections, who was Bushs campaign manager, stole the election for Bush, or that the ghost of Chicago was resurrected and tried to steal Florida for Gore? Michael Rectenwald,

Well, to start off... it's 'lying' and not 'lieing.' I feel it's relevant to note the error, since you're waxing poetic about the 'uneducated' masses. Cheers, Lori Price
